The DN1803-900 Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 “Heavy” Will Restock March 19th
New Jordan 2020, Concepts continued their musical nostalgia journey with a stop at Bethel, New York. The year was 1969, and the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, commonly known as Woodstock, gathered over 400,000 people and 32 musical groups over three days, making it one of the most important occasions in live music history . Concepts’ Air Max 1’s upper is covered in old denim, bandanas, and overtired tiger camouflage and M85 jacket shapes, all influenced by the ubiquitous common clothing. Additionally, the refined design at the ankle is a nod to the iconic guitar straps used by rock bands.
2020 Cheap Jordans, While the Jordan Legacy 312 Low doesn’t replace shoes with design elements, it continues to excite knowledgeable and casual enthusiasts in new, alluring shades. Ahead of summer, the Don C Assist Hybrid comes in a “white/turquoise” package, perfect for any barbecue or other party when the weather turns nice. The main body of the upper is made of synthetic leather and finished in a “colorless” shade that evokes the aforementioned aqua hues of sheen. A locking strap across the upper and an Air Jordan 3-related elephant graphic on either side of the heel add grey contrast to the mix, while adjacent branding and other components stick to the sneaker’s namesake hue. Underfoot, the story continues, as most of the outsole is “turquoise,” but there are also grey and “white” sections.
Retro Jordan 2021, Last year, South Park and Adidas teamed up for some of the best 2021 releases. Now, the two are working together on a larger scale to honor more memorable events and characters from the series. Professor Chaos, Butters’ villainous self, came to power recently, adorning the NMD R1 v2 in a tin foil suit. The aforementioned household essentials wrap a good portion of the outside, visible from the eye braces, stripes, and heels. Both the BOOST and the sculpted mold that slightly covers the sole get a matching finish. Other tributes to the would-be genius include the vivid blue weave on the upper, the yellow finish on the laces, and the red dot on the tongue, which mimics his body, hair and helmet, respectively.
2022 marks the 35th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 1, so this year there will be a slew of new releases to celebrate the occasion, including the Nike Air Max 1 “Wabi-Sabi”, collaborations “Heavy” and “Mellow” and especially the Nike Air Max 1 NH “Treeline”. After revealing the first images last week, Nike has now released official images of this version. It’s unclear if this version is directly inspired by the classic SB product, but the accent does remind us of it. The fenders and heel overlays will feature ‘Treeline’ dyed suede, while the Nike Swooshes and tongue label will be styled in purple. Next, the laces will be covered in shades of green with white polka dots. Lastly, the midfoot and collar overlays will feature a light beige finish, while the toe cap and inner lining will feature tan accents.
