The latest update in Stephen Curry’s signature Under Armour Curry Shoes footwear line is officially complete. Programmed for maximum unpredictability, the lightweight, precision-fitting Curry 5 was developed to help Stephen optimize his on-court performance. In homage to Stephen’s return and journey to the NBA Finals, Under Armour is dropping two new colorways of the Curry 5 dubbed, the UA Takeover Edition 1 and UA Takeover Edition 2.
The Under Armour Curry 5 Takeover Edition_1 has a full Black upper with Black lacing, in contrast to the White colorway, an all-White upper with White laces. Both colorways feature a speckled White midsole that pops in contrast. Much like the Curry 4 Championship Pack, there will be both a black and a white offering made available equipped with regal gold detailing. Speckled midsoles are in full effect with this pack, as both boast a white midsole with black speckled detailing as well as Curry’s signature “SC” logo on the ankle collar.
Both pairs Steph Curry UA Curry 5 are contrasted with Gold accents on the heel and tongue that represents all of the highs and the lows – victory, defeat, will, hard work, preparation and the ability to push past doubt and exhaustion to reach new levels of greatness – all working together towards the common goal of the NBA Playoffs: a world championship.
