Kevin Durant will soon release his latest signature shoe, the Nike KD 13 and one of the first colorways will be part of the upcoming “The Planet of Hoops” Pack. Here, the blue uppers are adorned with the cartoon-styled etchings from the pack’s design set, while vibrant splashed of neon green hit the heel KD motifs, medial Swoosh and lateral midsole detail Linking the pair back to the pack’s spaced-out theme is galaxy-like flecked paintwork draping the midsole sweep, illustrated insoles that reads “The Court Planet of Hoops”, and the thematic Hoops logo hitting the tongues.
Retro Jordan, While Kevin Durant is battling his way back to the court his 13th signature shoe is waiting in the abyss to finally debut. This “The Planet of Hoops” iteration features a dark navy upper that features black graphics all throughout depicting space and basketball themes. Following we have subtle graphics throughout which furthers the theme between space and basketball. Following we have Neon Green on part of the midsole, insoles and KD branding on the heel. Other details includes “Just Do It” patches on the tongue while Black runs across the Air Zoom midsole with Neon speckled detailing.
In 2020, the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” officially made its return in the original color blocking. The shoe came in a buttery Black nubuck upper with Metallic Silver accents, 3M tongues, and embroidered “Nike Air” on the heels. It features a clean White leather build with Red accents, original reflective Silver tongues, Black midsole, icy Blue translucent outsole completed with embroidered “Nike Air” on the heels.
