2020 Jordans, The Air Jordan 3 “Crimson” was an all-new colorway. The Air Jordan 3 “Crimson” comes with a Bright Crimson midsole and lining that stands out against the sneaker’s black tumbled leather upper. Separating it from previous iterations, the Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Crimson’ features reflective paneling on the upper.
Original Air Jordan 3 was made for Michael’s forth NBA season. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, this sneaker featured elephant print trim, visible air unit and jumping man logo. But what really made this sneaker famous were funny ads with Spike Lee as Mars Blackmon, his character from “She’s gotta have it”. This was one of the most successful advertising campaigns in the history of Nike. This offering of the Air Jordan 3 features a Black leather upper paired with eye-popping Bright Crimson contrasting accents with Canyon Purple used on the elephant print and rubber outsole. Finishing off the design was a White midsole.

Back in 1988, when Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 3 for Michael Jordan to wear on court, there were just 4 colors for MJ to choose from. This was the first Air Jordan designed by Tinker Hatfield, the designer who was involved in every next Air Jordan sneaker release. The shoe features a black upper and bright crimson on the liner and midsole. Nubuck and synthetic leather on the upper.
