Off-White x Nike Dunk Low “The 50” Collection 2021
New Jordans Retro, #50 interpolates familiar details and colors from Abloh’s past Nike collaborations with some fresh new details. It’s done up in black and equipped with a metallic silver Swoosh a la the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MoMA” from 2018, while also adding the overlaid rope lacing system from past Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low collaborations and cut-out oval detailing on the tongue that’s borrowed from the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5. Each Nike Dunk Low will come dressed in a Sail/Neutral Grey color scheme, while the difference between each pair will be the color of the hiking laces, insoles, tab on the Swoosh, and number plate reading “XX of 50.” The “50 of 50” pair will come in a Black color blocking.
2020 Jordans, The Off-White x Nike Dunk Low The 50 Collection consists of each pair dressed in the same Sail/Neutral Grey color scheme. Arriving in a “Black/Silver” colorway, the shoe comes with a striking metallic silver Swoosh, similar to the one on the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MoMA” released back in 2018. Elsewhere, the pair features an overlaid rope lacing system and cut-out oval detailing on the tongue. Painted in a “Triple White” colour palette, it works atop a versatile canvas base while premium leather panels wrap their way around the entire shoe. A shimmering metallic silver Nike Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels just like the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1, while soft red tones grace the heel and tag. Meanwhile, the textile toeboxes, quarter panels and collars seamlessly blend with the supple leather mudguards, eyestays, Swooshes and heels. The pops of purple on the heel round out the footwear style.
This adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 comes covered in White, which on the surface, gives them a simple look. However, the pair will feature UV-sensitivity technology. Once it comes in contact with sunlight, the stripe on the side that wraps the heel will turn a darker shade. What separates the “Light” from its bulbous, BOOST-filled counterparts is its UV-sensitive upper. Upon first glance, the “Light” appears to offer standard earthy YEEZY style — sandy stone Primeknit accented by yellow tinted heel tabs and midsoles — but under a UV light the tonal post-dyed monofilament side stripe shows a bright orange tone and a soft shade of red appears on the base. Also, the Primeknit upper will turn from White to a soft Pink. Finally, the pair will not come with pull tabs but features the signature full-length Boost midsole.
