Off-White x Air Jordan 5 to release sometime in February 2020
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 5, Virgil Abloh will continue his partnership with Nike/Jordan Brand into 2020 with an upcoming Off-White x Air Jordan 5 colorway. 3M reflective tongues with a Fire Red Jumpman logo and “23” stitched on the heels atop an aged translucent outsole completes the design. Inspired by the OG “Metallic” Air Jordan 5, this release features a Black textile mesh upper with Off-White’s signature “Shoelaces” branding on the laces along with its text on the inner netting side panel.
Retro Jordan, Inspired by the OG Air Jordan 5 “Metallic”, the latest Off-White remix involves black textile on the uppers, 3M reflective detailing on the tongues, and some clever signature retooling by the Milan-based label. Following we have “Shoelaces” on the laces, Fire Red Jumpman logo and 23 stitched on the heels and translucent circles throughout. Other details includes 3M Reflective on the tongue and an aged translucent outsole which finishes the look.
This Nike Kyrie 6 release features a Deep Purple suede upper with Kyrie Irving’s Seeing Eye logo below the collar. The Enlightenment colorway of the Nike Kyrie 6 toys with the idea of perspective; the heel eye graphic is more visible at certain angles, while the complementary colors of Green, Red, Yellow, and Blue are inspired by camera light filters, changing the appearance of images and films to alter perception. Knitted Swoosh logos in White, Pink covers the heel counter, while added logos are found on the heel and insoles.
