Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low to release on November 12th
Dressed in a Black and Varsity Royal color scheme. Standout details include Jordan’s signature on the lateral ankle, a zip-tie on the laces, the signature Off-White text in white on the medial, and black foam midsole with cracked detailing for that aged look. Every Off-White collaboration has boosted the profiles of the silhouettes collaborated on, so this might be the opportunity the left-behind pair needs to enter the mainstream. For this darker iteration, a black leather base is seen below blue piping and red laces.
The latest images show that the release will also come equipped with a handful of extra laces, with one being the Pink set you see on the shoe here. The low-top carries a black leather upper with a tonal lizard-textured overlay and contrasting royal blue accents. They land on the molded heel panel, midfoot piping and exposed-foam tongue, featuring the Jordan Wings logo for an OG touch. Michael Jordan’s signature is scrawled across the lateral side, while Abloh leaves his mark with a plastic zip tie, medial-side Helvetica text and “SHOELACES” printed on the laces. Faux cracking on the midsole gives the shoe an aged, distressed aesthetic.
The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Retro Low SP “Sail” delivers Virgil Abloh’s take on the retro silhouette originally released in 1986. This pair replicates the look of the OG “White/Red” colorway, featuring a white leather upper with red piping and a matching red heel overlay. The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low “White Red” is easily one of the more coveted drops this fall as lifestyle images of the upcoming silhouette are now featured. Other details will include exposed-foam collars, MJ’s signature on the lateral side atop a vintage/aged midsole. Off-White details include Michael Jordan’s signature on the collar area, your familiar Off-White branding and details throughout, exposed foam collars and an aged rubber tooling with crackled detailing.
