Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG to release on May 25th
New Air Jordans 2019, Undoubtedly one of the Summer season’s most anticipated sneaker releases is this cross-category mash up of the Air Jordan 1 and Nike SB. This Air Jordan 1 was originally spotted on the feet of Nike SB team rider Theotis Beasley that comes in a Los Angeles Lakers color scheme. It features a White leather toe box and side panels with Purple trimming along the toe, eyelets and heel, and Yellow on the Swoosh logos and collar. Much like previous Nike SB releases, this one will have a wear away design that looks to have a Chicago-like scheme underneath.
Only a shoe so storied like the Air Jordan 1 is able to platform several storylines, and this one in particular not only touches on the silhouette’s adoption by the skate community, but the epic battle between the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers. This pair sports a Los Angeles Lakers color scheme with a white leather toe box and side panels, purple used on the toe, eyelets, and heel, and yellow coloring in the Swooshes and ankle collar. These skate-ready AJ1s (complete with Zoom cushioned insoles) feature a traditional Lakers colorway of purple and gold, but over time the shoe reveals the iconic “Chicago” look.
Jordans 2019 Cheap is set to launch their low-top variation of the Air Jordan 33, which is expected to debut early April. This iteration of the basketball shoe comes dressed in a White, Metallic Gold, and Gym Red color scheme. It features a White textile mesh upper with its FastFit technology, along with a new elastic strap on the midfoot. Its cushioning remains the same featuring FlightSpeed carbon fiber plate in the midsole completed with Zoom Air in the heel.
