Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 LA to Chicago to release on May 25th
This Air Jordan 1 was originally spotted on the feet of Nike SB team rider Theotis Beasley that comes in a Los Angeles Lakers color scheme. Nike Skateboarding and Jordan Brand will also be releasing an upcoming Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 High OG. It features a White leather toe box and side panels with Purple trimming along the toe, eyelets and heel, and Yellow on the Swoosh logos and collar. Much like previous Nike SB releases, this one will have a wear away design that looks to have a Chicago-like scheme underneath.
To release alongside the Air Jordan 1 Mid, New Air Jordans 2019 will also be giving their Air Jordan 1 Low the “Shattered Backboard” treatment for the summer months. Dressed in the classic White, Black, and Starfish color scheme. This low-top Air Jordan 1 features a Black nubuck overlay with matching Swoosh. Orange leather covers the heel, collar, toe, and outsole atop a White midsole.
Jordans 2019 Cheap will be releasing an Air Jordan 3 inspired by one of Michael Jordan’s 90s rivals, the New York Knicks. This Air Jordan 3 features a White tumbled leather upper paired with Royal Blue and Orange contrasting accents throughout to give off aha NY Knicks vibes. Dressed in a White, Old Royal, University Orange, and Tech Grey color scheme. Completing the design is an inner tongue tag that reads, “04.08.88” as a reference to the “The Virus Game,” when Michael Jordan played with a stomach virus while adding 47 points in a Chicago Bulls victory.
