New Air Jordan 5 “Top 3” 2020 to release on May 16th
The pair is expected to be called the “Top 3” Air Jordan 5, which is a color scheme first introduced on the Air Jordan 1 back in 2016. With the “What The” Air Jordan 4 expected to release in November, the Air Jordan 5 may be the next model to receive a similar mash-up style. This release will combine classic Air Jordan 5 colorways such as the Fire Red, Black Metallic, and Grape releases all in one shoe, which is noted on the inner tongue. Both sides of the shoe will be the same.
Jordans 2019 Cheap will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 5 with a special edition “Top 3” colorway in 2020. Mixing together its most iconic schemes — in a fashion reminiscent of the series’ prior AJ1 or the somewhat similar “What The” AJ4 — the pair takes a new lease on life by way of the past’s “Fire Red,” “Metallic,” and “Grape” notables. Among those, the easiest to pinpoint is certainly the latter whose vibrant hits of purple and aqua blue add a pop of color along the tongue and its embedded Jumpman insignia. Elsewhere, the black-dominated “Metallic” steers the helm as much of the upper, cages, and front-placed accents of the tooling adhere to its versatile arrangements.
Retro Jordan will be adding Zoom technology to the iconic Air Jordan 1 in 2020 with the debut of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom R2T. Detailed in seldom by the latter, the upper is primarily composed of bright neutrals — colorless smooth leathers at the base and patent leather greys at the overlays — but just as the inaugural drop subverted the norm slightly, this latest does the same by way of see-through synthetics at the ankle flaps and a gradient dyed tread that somewhat matches both the saturated lining and the mesh accented ankle.
