New Jordans, Travis Scott has been one of the most popular men in the sneaker world over the last couple of years as his efforts with Jordan Brand have been highly appreciated by the fans. From the Air Jordan 4 to the Air Jordan 1 and even to the Air Jordan 6, Scott has come through with some pretty unique colorways that always sell out. Centered around a mix of “British Khaki/Sail/Bright Crimson,” the shoe looks to come complete with a special shoebox with a dustbag that continues the design of the collaboration.
Jordan Release 2020, Thanks to the sneaker resale app GOAT, we have a brand new look at this colorway, as you will find below. The shoe in question has a mostly brown nubuck upper, while translucent grey is found on the back heel and the tongue. The stash pocket dresses the lateral side of the ankle all the same, its canvas dyed the titular khaki to better match the buttery suedes that outfit the rest of the upper. “Infrared” logos return as well, dyeing both the oversized Jumpman at the lace cover as well as the Cactus Jack and Nike Air branding that hits the right and left heel, respectively. There are hints of red throughout when it comes to the branding although the main attraction here is all of the stash pockets which are found on both sides of the heel. Elsewhere, darker earth tones accent in parallel, light, see-through panels cover the tongue, and an additional set of storage hides along the medial side with zipped fastening.
Like many classics, the Air Jordan 6 is primarily well known for its original colors. In 1991, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 6 while completing his second MVP season. Second to the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 6 is still to this day one of the most popular silhouettes within the line-up. Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, it first debuted almost two decades ago in 1991 and it soon followed MJ into his first NBA Championship. Tinker Hatfield designed two grip holes into the rubber tongue to help people slip their feet in more easily and included a translucent sole, which contrasted the colored midsole. Hued in black and gold, the Defining Moments epithet arrived once again in a true-to-form construction, one that reflects the Nike umbrella’s recent interest in recreating its past.
