Latest 2021 adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner” Restock is Coming
Yeezy 350 For Sale,Throughout the last six years, Kanye West has inched closer to a mission he set out on when he joined adidas in 2013: to make Yeezys available to anyone and everyone who wanted them. Although ‘ye has increased certain releases’ production numbers to help with his endeavors, he’s also reissued a handful of pairs, with the Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner” set to restock in August.First released in August 2017 as a YEEZY SUPPLY-exclusive, Mr. West’s original “dad shoe” relaunched globally in 2018 and 2019, with the latter enabling a wide audience to indulge in the BOOST-cushioned offering that helped pioneer an unshakeable chunky sneaker trend.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Solid Grey is about as controversial as it is sought-after. When Kanye West first unveiled this silhouette it was received with plenty of criticism, referred to as a ‘Dad Shoe’ thanks to the chunky aesthetic. But it wasn’t long before sneakerheads saw the appeal. Just like a retro 90s silhouette, the Yeezy 700 Solid Grey features contrasting shades and bold hits of colour. A set of neon yellow laces are included whilst soft nylon and suede features across the sidewall. Grey is the predominant colour but accents of teal green and black give an all together more subdued look.Whilst this shoe doesn’t showcas adidas’s visible Boost technology, this innovative material is hidden away in the midsole.
From the upper shell to the BOOST sole to the outsole to the glue-like melt, all of the components of the adidas Ultra Boost Made To Be Remade were made of one singular material that could be manipulated to form whatever was needed. After use, the sneaker itself could be grind down to form the base material needed to make a brand new pair of sneakers. This means absolutely no waste, and a theoretical never-ending loop that could churn out new pair after new pair without waste. The FUTURECRAFT Loop program involves a unique QR code, featured on the tongue of the sneaker. This code connects a consumer with a unique pair of sneakers, and from there that consumer will be able to receive a fully recycled pair of sneakers made from the same material as the preceding pair.
