Air Jordan Shoes, Below is Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 33 Holiday 2018 lineup as well as each of their color inspirations. Inspired by gravity-defying athletes and space travel, the new Air Jordan 33 was made to change the game of basketball. Thanks to its new FastFit tightening system, the shoe provides optimal lockdown and follows the Air Jordan tradition of boldly bringing the shoe’s innovation to the exterior of the shoe.
This New Air Jordans 2019 colorway was directly inspired by the same, highly functional astronaut suits that informed the overall Air Jordan XXXIII design. This colorway was inspired by the high-contrast “Tech Pack” blueprints used to highlight the different zones of a shoe for production. In the case of the Air Jordan XXXIII, each of these zones represents the shoe’s innovation and performance benefits. and “Utility Blackout” was inspired by the brand’s history of stealth-inspired colorways. With the exception of red stitching and an ice sole, it’s all black and ready to hit the court.
The China-exclusive 2019 Jordan colorway is inspired by the brand’s first professional Chinese basketball player, Guo Ailun, and his favorite color, island green. The shoe commemorates Guo with a “G” on the left tongue and Mandarin characters that translate to: “What the mind wants, the body will follow.” This colorway was inspired by Nike ACG colorways and vibrant basketball courts. Though it has yellow, pink and red hits, it’s grounded in a neutral beige.
