Jordan 1 Low OG Shattered Backboard to release on August 26th
New Jordans Retro, The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Starfish” features a familiar colorway redolent of the “Shattered Backboard.” The shoe’s upper emerges with an all-leather construction, finished with a white base and overlaid by Starfish. Dressed in a an Orange, White, and Black color scheme. This Air Jordan 1 Low features a White leather base with Orange overlays and Black covering the laces, Wings heel logo and Swooshes. Vibrant orange panels appear along the eyelets, heel, forefoot and toecap, while white full-grain leather shows up around the sidewalls and toebox. All of these details rest over a crisp white midsole underscored by a thin orange outsole.
New Jordan 2022, Much like its predecessors, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shattered Backboard” is dressed in a predominantly White leather colorway accentuated by orange overlays. Starting at the top of the shoe is a small orange “Nike” tag that pops against the white leather tongue. Most of the uppers sport a two-toned design, complemented by black accents — the laces and main Swoosh. Black contrasts the Swoosh and “Wings” branding as well as the laces, while the usual perforations on the toe box are included for breathability. Underfoot, encapsulated Air in the heel of the midsole offers cushioning, giving way to a concentric rubber outsole in further Starfish for traction.

This Air Jordan 1 is detailed with an upper covered in text that reads “They can’t stop you from wearing them,” referencing the commercial, and the iconic Red “X” returns on the heels. A White midsole atop a Grey rubber outsole completes the design. The “White” pair was revealed featuring a velvet built similar to the Strangelove SB Dunk Low. Other details includes a mini Swoosh embroidered on the forefoot with co-branded insoles atop a solid White rubber sole.
