Drake’s Air Jordan 8 OVO Gold Shoes 2023
Latest Nike Jordan Sneakers and Drake’s partnership has been going on for years now, and here we have a look at the all-Gold Air Jordan 8 OVO Sample that was made exclusively for Drake. Continuing the theme from the Gold OVO Air Jordan 11s we saw a few years back, this Air Jordan 8 gets the same Gold foil treatment all along the uppers. Hits of Red appear along the outsole and insole, while a translucent glitter outsole, and Gold embroidered tongues completes the design. Hits of Red appear along the outsole and insole, while a translucent glitter outsole and Gold embroidered tongues round out the pair. The one surprise about the pair is that just like the Gold Jordan 11, this pair also lacks the OVO owl logo.
Shop Jordans 2020, Unlike Drake’s other Jordan collaborations, this AJ11 does not feature the OVO owl insignia. The pair also features gold glitter flakes inside the icy outsoles to tie things together, as well as a set of gold-toned laces and metallic gold shoetrees to match. As if there wasn’t enough gold on these OVO 11s, the icy outsole is also sprinkled with gold flakes. Despite the Drake ties, there is no outward OVO branding on these. Instead, the pair features various Jumpman motifs, such as the Michael Jordan emblem on the rear-quarter, “23” embroidery at the heel, Jumpman logos on the sole in red and more of the same found on the insole. it’s important to note that these pairs feature none of the OVO brand’s Owl insignia, but it has been confirmed to be an OVO-intended pair.
New Jordans Retro, This latest collaboration between Nike and French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus dresses up the Nike Air Humara in Pink hues from top to bottom. Close-pore mesh has been used for the majority of the upper to provide breathability, while supple suede and leather maps out the sneaker’s technical, trekking aesthetic that’s further accented by webbing details. Said hue highlights the leather and mesh fixtures as well as the adjacent midsole and eye stays; the suede overlays and grosgrain straps follow suit, albeit in a slightly darker finish. What’s retained from its predecessors are the cream laces, gum bottom, and gold mini Swoosh, all of which help create a subtle visual throughline across the catalog. Jordan aficionados may recall similar treatments being applied to the Air Jordan 11 Low, but this sample for Drizzy marked the first time the pattern had been used on the original cut of the 11s.
