DR7867-100 Nike Air Max 95 is ready for spring 2022
As it is about to enter its 27th year on the market, Nike Air Max 95 ushered in a preview of the brand’s 2022 spring plan. Among the still “secret” options, the female-only color scheme brings a touch of yellow, green, blue and pink. This new pair of watches is made of a mixture of suede leather, synthetic knurled leather and mesh, abandoning the dark gray that is usually associated with Sergio Lozano’s design, and instead adopts a style suitable for spring. Rose and blue suede lay the foundation for the mixed tone of the upper half of the sneaker, while the remaining upper covering further promotes the accent suitable for Easter. The tongue, its accompanying mesh, and the visible lining around the collar are different from the above-mentioned shades, presenting a clean white appearance; the foam in the midsole follows closely behind, although the visible Air Max unit reverts to a light blue style. Finally, the waffle pattern on the outsole is reminiscent of the tread, and the striking blue color completes the AM 95’s colorful arrangement.
New Jordan 2020, Jordan Zoom Independent has been launched in Asia and recently added more color to its first “black/white/sky gray/gym red” style. The latest option also favors a single-color arrangement, but combines it with an eye-catching “multi-color” outsole. The design of this sneaker is inspired by Luka Dončić of the Dallas Mavericks, with low-cut trim, flexible upper and improved outdoor sports upper. Most of the textile and synthetic materials found in the upper half of the shoes are covered in “black”, but the parts of the forefoot are in sharp contrast to the “white”. The neon green vibrant brand logo on the toes, inside and tongue, but they are overshadowed by the mixed tone that takes over the outsole. Reminiscent of the Jordan Zion 1, partly designed by Zion Williamson’s brother Noah, the multi-directional tread pattern is covered with green, blue, orange and red spots. The Zoom Air cushion on the forefoot is paired with two types of foam, creating a durable solution for people who are tailored like Dončić.
Since its debut 31 years ago, the Nike Air Max 90 is arguably the most popular sports shoe with a visible air cushion. Although no longer in the milestone anniversary celebration, Tinker Hatfield’s design continues to stand out among the eye-catching makeup. A good example: a women’s exclusive color, with a leopard pattern on the profile swoosh. This new pair of shoes has abandoned the colorful style of the past, and most of the synthetic leather, TPU and mesh uppers are in off-white tones. The iconic fenders along the outline are quite different from the above-mentioned tones, which favor the rich tan and suede structure. Directly above them, the logo designed by Carolyn Davidson chose smooth leather to incorporate the aesthetics of tortoiseshell glasses; the same details appear at the base of the tongue. Most of the remaining components on the classic Air Max silhouette are covered in soft whites and grays, bringing the seemingly animal-inspired elements into focus.
Over-branding is still one of Nike’s most commonly used tools. On top of silhouettes such as Nike Air Force 1, the brand quickly tested and adjusted the size of the logo in various ways. Here, the shoe proposes another design, a design full of mini grids. “Sail” is attached to the front and center, and tumbling leather is wrapped along the toe, eye support, heel and Swoosh. However, below and below, the pair chose a more primitive white finish, which directly contrasts the retro feel of the adjacent cladding. More importantly, the overall print of the mini Swooshes on the upper is also very modern-especially when you consider its reflective treatment.
