DD1391-001 Nike Dunk Low “Hyper Cobalt” Sneaker will release in Early 2021

From epic SB collaborations earlier this year to the recent reissues of OGs both Low and High — all of which were extremely hard to come by — the brand is setting the scene for a big year ahead for the silhouette. The recent SNKRS Dunkumentary series will undoubtedly have a similar effect on the market that the Last Dance achieved for Jordan Brand, and its on-flowing lineup is indicative of Nike’s anticipations. One such release on the horizon is this Nike Dunk Low “Hyper Cobalt”, which was previewed back through the middle of the year alongside six other upcoming colorways for the new year. Today we get a very first look at the pair and, as expected, arrives with jet black leather uppers and punchy blue overlays in the titular hue.
This Nike SB Dunk Low Vietnam 25th Anniversary comes dressed in the same colors used for the Vietnam flag.It’s evident that its influence comes from the Vietnamese flag, with not only color schemes mimicked, but also the nation’s Star motif matched perfectly at the right heel. White leather uppers come with flag-matched red overlays and midsoles, while striking black tongues, liners, and laces sit above. Triple-stacked Swooshes arrive reminiscent of past Parra collabs, while other special details include a remixed tongue logo that swaps out the “SB” for the “25”, and a vintage toe box graphic that directly nods to the anniversary.
This Air Jordan 1 Mid Light Smoke Grey delivers an entirely neutral iteration of the classic silhouette. Built with leather, the upper sports a white base overlaid by Light Smoke Grey, with black on the Swoosh, laces and ‘Wings’ branding. Underfoot, the midsole houses the usual Air for cushioning. The concentric outsole provides traction.
