DB0246-800 Nike Air Max 97 “First Use” Blood Orange
For Air Max 270, We’ve been anticipating the “First Use” collection for quite some time now but a drop has yet to go down with more renditions surfacing for a release. While the collection celebrates 50 Years of the iconic Nike Swoosh and the beginning of it all, we’re also getting some pretty cool colorways like this one that adorns the Air Max 97. Featuring a red mesh base that’s complemented by red suede overlays.To add separation, a white tongue adds contrast to the red design with white also appearing on Nike swoosh branding on the sides.
This Nike Air Max 97 comes dressed in white and dark orange in a mix of layered suede, mesh, and leather. A black swoosh outline and “June 18, 1971” text is printed on the inner arch on the medial side. Below, a white midsole and full-length Air unit sit atop black rubber outsoles. Accents including the retro tongue tab, “Nike” text pull tab, and gold swoosh lace clip round out the commemorative sneaker.Additional details include the trademarked date of June 18th, 1971 printed on the medial side, Gold Swoosh lace locks, and retro branding on the heel tabs, tongues, and insoles. Black detailing on the textured inner liners and the rubber outsole finish things off on this Nike Air Max 97.
Giving the nod to the NBA’s midseason exhibition, the Air Jordan 1 Low All Star 2021 emerges with a largely black look and an elevated construction. The shoe’s upper features a black leather base, overlaid by tonal patent leather at the toe and heel. The Swoosh also sports a patent leather construction, contrasted by white stitching that’s matched by the ‘Wings’ logo. Underfoot, a white Air midsole provides cushioning, giving way to a concentric rubber outsole for traction.
