Air Max 270,Thanks to Chris Colgan, we’ve caught what is quite possibly the best in-person look at the release yet. And though it may pale in comparison to certain OGs, the offering is certainly one of the most versatile appearances this year thus far.Built from smooth white leather and boasting white mesh netting plus white “wings,” the uppers kick things off with a crisp look. A small touch of “Fire Red” appears on the tongue tag’s outer Jumpman and inner badge while a gray Jumpman graces the heels. Familiar cement print appears on both the top and bottom eyestays.
Looking closer, this Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort Tropical Twist features a White, Daybreak, and Tropical Twist color combination. The titular “Daybreak” color quickly takes the helm, coloring in the panels of suedes that are spread throughout the frame. What’s more, it even extends towards the indented Swoosh whose mesh fabrication contrasts heavily against its similarly fibrous white base. Wings insignia, laces, and midsoles are also equally achromatic, though the same cannot be said for the collar whose thin layers transition from a bright aqua blues to a more pastel-filtered purple.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Hyper Royal features a combination of grey, light blue, and white for a clean look. A white midsole and Wings logo is added to provide some neutrality to the iteration. While the colorway is yet to be confirmed, this is a must for AJ1 collectors.
Like the aforementioned, the “Hyper Royal” will likely arrive in full family sizes, all touting the same details, colors, and materials. Suedes of both solid and patterned tone mark outfit throughout, with the titular blues worked into the overlays — i.e. the toe cap, eye stay, counter, etc. Elsewhere, Swooshes, collars, and treads tinge in grey, adding yet another unique element over top a more plain, leather base.
