Inspired by the New Jordan 2020, this version uses a black textile mesh upper, with the off-white iconic “Shoelaces” trademark on the shoelace, and text on the side panel of the inner net. The 3M reflective tongue has the Fire Red Jumpman logo on it, and “23” is embroidered on the heel of the old translucent outsole to complete the design.
2020 Cheap Jordans brought his love of deconstruction to the legendary basketball silo, painted with a “ferrous metal” color scheme, and replaced the usual leather construction with a translucent panel. The signature quote text of Off-White Designer appeared on the shoelace, and the technical words made the middle face come back.
adidas NMD R2 brings a stylish atmosphere to Virgil Abloh’s retro look. The faded black fabric upper incorporates traditional details, including silver reflective tongue and embroidered Nike Air brand, with Virgil’s signature text on the laces and inner quarter panel. The translucent rubber outsole pre-dyed in yellow adds to the retro aesthetic of the sneakers.
After Cheap Jordans UK was successful and multiple AJ4 samples were displayed at the MCA Chicago exhibition earlier this year, the sports shoe world wondered what Off-White designer’s next move was to work with Jumpman again. But now that we have the answer, as 2020 is approaching, yet another collaboration between the two iconic brands will also appear in the form of Air Jordan 5. Once again seeing his deconstructed style walking in the forefront, the rendition retains the silhouette of the traditional leather structure and chooses a completely synthetic / translucent appearance.
