Buy The Sneaker, The 2021 reissue of the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death” revives a fan-favorite collaborative colorway initially released in 2006. Like the original, the retro runner is marked by a deconstructed tan suede upper with transparent paneling on the toe box and a scaly texture on the Swoosh. Orange detailing, a transparent toe box, which displays the insoles that shows the pressure points of the foot as a nod to a Chinese medicinal theory atop a translucent outsole displaying an image of the foot completes the design.
Jordan Release 2020, Chinese streetwear label Clot teamed up with Nike back in 2006 to release a special rendition of the Air Max 1 dubbed, “Kiss of Death” to celebrate the opening of China’s first sneaker boutique ACU. The heel overlay undergoes a color flip, featuring an orange CLOT logo against a red backdrop while the translucent rubber outsole reveals a reflexology-inspired graphic in a new multicolor design. Each pair features the label’s iconic lightning bolt logo embedded on the heel. Finishing off the design is a White midsole with various texts and numbers including “FA21” possibly indicating that the pack will return later this year.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2, To go along with the Fragment x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle collaboration releasing Spring/Summer 2021, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Nike will also be reissuing the Fragment Dunk High “City Pack” that dropped back in 2010. Unlike similar colorways by the Jordan MA2, the AJ11 CMFT Low has a much easier time due to its resemblance to the original. Patent leathers dress the mudguard/toe cap in a manner near identical to its inspiration, cutting so close it’d be hard to distinguish if zoomed in.
