Retro Jordan, The Olivia Kim x Air Jordan 4 “No Cover – Pony Hair” is a high-end makeup of Michael Jordan’s classic forth signature sneaker. With premium pony hair lovingly applied throughout the upper of the design, Kim, Nordstrom’s VP of Creative Projects, taps into ’90s club culture, as well as the beloved “Black Cat” colorway of the Jordan 4. Shiny black pony hair covers various panels on the upper with only subtle contrasting appearing on the black netting on the mid-panel and black wings. A blacked-out Jumpman branding tab covers the tongue with Kim and Jordan Brand equipping the design with original Nike Air branding on the heel tab, which also features tonal black speckling. Continuing the all-black look is the midsole and outsole to complete the refined design.

Paying homage to MJ’s most infamous moniker, this special-edition Air Jordan 4 is Blacked-out with an all-over pony hair inspired upper. Also, for the first time, the Nike Air Futura logo appears on a women’s AJ4 heel, balancing OG details with fashion-forward materials. The most iconic athlete of the ’90s, MJ consistently burned his most heated rivals with scintillating play. For the No Cover collection, she curated a capsule of nostalgic OG Nike silhouettes that she couldn’t get her hands on growing up, bringing to life what was previously unattainable in her own life.
