Nike Shoes is bringing back the Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0, a shoe that nods back to the original Air Force 1 with a super lightweight Flyknit construction, in a few new color options. Pivoted towards performance runners and the like more recently, Flyknit fabrics once dressed nearly every silhouette in the entire Nike repertoire. Effectively a callback to such times, the Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0 is invoking nostalgia as it arrives in some brand new colorways. A stark departure from its Oreo and Multicolor pairs that released late last year, this latest prefers to highlight Summer palettes as it dyes in sand-like shade.
Jordan Release 2020, One of those includes this upcoming edition that features a Sandy Tan Flyknit upper with suede overlays on the eyelets and heels. A White leather Swoosh on the sides atop a solid White AF1 rubber sole completes the design. The weave mixes in both dark and light variations of the same pigment, creating an interesting texture that changes gauge as it goes from “overlays” to the toe box and profile. Elsewhere, white swooshes are made to stand out in white leathers while the heel tab and eye stays prefer a complementing suede fixture.
In addition to both Air Jordan 6 colorways, Jordan Brand will also be releasing an Air Jordan 1 Low as part of their Quai 54 2020 lineup. This low-top Air Jordan 1 features Sail leather overlays, Brown leather Swooshes with patterned underlays and insoles. Dressed in a Sail, Team Orange, and Baroque Brown color scheme. Team Orange accents on the tongues and heels atop a White midsole and Gum rubber outsole completes the design.
