Brand New Travis Scott Air Jordan I Low Basketball Shoes
On Sale Retro Jordan, Travis Scott, having such a big influence on sneaker culture as a whole, often receives releases far, far in advance. And just today, the artist teased a very mysterious pair of Air Jordan 1 Lows, one that happens to be a collaboration with SoleFly. Scott may not be a world-beating photographer, but the cut-off image he posted does reveal some of the shoe’s key details.
The Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low seems to dress most of its upper in dark black suede, one that appears almost velvet-like across the side profile. Matching laces and nylon tongues are sandwiched between, while the forefoot contrasts heavily in both color and pattern. The colorway combines references to the Air Carnivore from ’93 as well as the Nike SB Dunk Low “Bison.” The latter’s red toe is transplanted in the exact same shade, framed by the pattern that dresses the former silhouette’s midsole. The midfoot looks to be crafted of black suede and the tongues of black nylon, while midsoles and outsoles take on a black/gray mix and a final pop of red makes its presence felt around the tongue.
The Nike Dunk Low South Korea features a premium white patent leather upper to symbolize peace and is contrasted by black tumbled leather overlay panels. This patriotic low-cut Dunk is an apt follow-up to Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 3 “Seoul,” an equally South Korea-centric design that first debuted in 2018.A red Swoosh with a translucent blue outsole is seen on the left pair with the inverse on the right. This takes influence from the red and blue circle which is seen in the center of the flag which represents balance. The heeltabs are also mismatched with Nike phonetically stitched in the back in Korean. The Taegukgi is also adorned on the left tongue with the classic Nike logo is on the right.
