The Air Jordan 4 “University Blue” is a brand new colorway of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe that will be releasing in 2021. Netted regions and the base layers are dripped with Tar Heel-inspired blue, the latter of which is formed with a buttery suede build. Accents are presented through solid black eye stays, rear Jumpman logos and lower forefoot, as well as through grey speckled heel counters and midsole molds to channel a similar aesthetic to the ever-classic Air Jordan 4 “White Cement”. The shoe’s construction features OG mesh netting on the quarter panel and tongue bottom with recognizable cement splatter on the midsole, heel tabs and wings and is completed by a woven jock tag on the tongue.
Air Jordan 4, In honor of its inspiration, the colorway is topped off with some athletics-themed details. For example, the tongue’s woven label, which would ordinary stitch atop by its lonesome, adds a removable jock tag that features the signature “23” numeral. Dressed in a University Blue, Tech Grey, White, and Black color scheme. With University Blue genuine suede leather upper, this new rendition of the Air Jordan 4 combines premium materials with a classic Jumpman color scheme. The shoe’s construction features OG mesh netting on the quarter panel and tongue bottom with recognizable cement splatter on the midsole, heel tabs and wings and is completed by a woven jock tag on the tongue.
Jordan Release 2020, Since the start, Nike and Jordan have celebrated Michael Jordan’s rise to greatness from his home state and playing days at North Carolina. But it wasn’t until MJ stepped away from the game that the Air Jordan line would receive its second shoe to sport the UNC colorway. One of the most iconic images of Michael during his era away from the game of basketball came by way of a photoshoot that was done for an advertisement for Champs Sports and their collegiate licensed jersey program that they had with Nike Team Sports in 1994. This was the first time that Michael Jordan appeared in an ad in years for an initiative that wasn’t focused around the Jordan line.
