Air Max 270, Women’s exclusives may have picked up in pace in the past few years, but there are still quite a few silhouettes that haven’t received the same treatment as, say, the Air Jordan 1, the Air Force 1, or the Air Max variant of the month. But with 2021, it seems the Jumpman is further rectifying this as they craft the very first Air Jordan 9 to be presented alongside the brand’s women’s line.
This Air Jordan 9 WMNS Cactus Flower comes dressed in a White, Cactus Flower, and Desert Berry color combination. The model was originally released during Michael Jordan’s first retirement from basketball, tells an international story that uses the shoes’ outsoles as its canvas. Through distinct global graphics and words in different languages, the shoe illustrates MJ’s impact and influence around the world. That sentiment lives on today, evidenced in this women’s exclusive model, which features the phrase “Change the World” on the heel loop. The shoe also employs unique colors on both shoes using vegetable-tanned materials and natural plant-based dyes.
Nike continues its experiment on the Air Force 1 and is now back with a new take on the AF1 with a Lux twist. These women’s specific pairs bear several embellishments, such as jewels down down its tongue coupled with several small mini metallic swooshes on both the lateral and medial. The Black leather upper is coupled with a white outsole for that distinctive AF1 look and a floral-patterned insole adds extremely subtle point of distinction.
