Made famous in 1985 by Michael Jordan, the shoe has stood the test of time, becoming the most famous colorway of the Air Jordan 1. Further retros were released in 2013 with small changes to the design, and again in 2015 with the original branding details: the Nike Air logo on the tongue and the original clean heel without the Jumpman logo.
Nike Shoes brought back Nike Air branded Air Jordan 1 Highs in 2013, but somehow dropped the ball on the original “Chicago” colorway. They correct their mistake this year, issuing a proper version of the classic in time for the 30th Anniversary celebration. Below is our first look at the 2015 release, which features the red Nike Air tongue label and no heel Jumpman branding. Each pair will also come with spare red and white lace sets.
Shop Air Jordan Basketball Shoes, A first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High “Satin Snake” has landed — and it’s ready being flamed on social. Dressed in a Gym Red, White, and Black color scheme. This Air Jordan 1 has a similar look to the OG “Chicago” colorway built with satin and snakeskin textured material. It arrives in an almost Reverse Black toe blocking, with red satin hitting the tongues and liners, along with red tumbled leather throats, eyestays and toe overlays, and black snakeskin on the collars, heels and Swoosh overlays. It’s completed with white leather mid panels, a white midsole, and black rubber outsole.
