DO6119-300 Passport Skateshop x Nike SB Dunk High Will Release March 5th
New Jordan 2020, Nike SB doesn’t visit Australia very often as they have previously consulted retailers in Asia, Europe and the US. That’s not to say the brand is ignoring the Australian skate scene, as they partnered with Trent Evans’ PASSPORT to develop a Blazer in 2015. Although it’s been seven years, it seems the two have kept in touch, and they’re about to pick up where they left off with a creative take on the beloved Dunk High. According to Nike SB, “talent” and “personality” are paramount as PASSPORT incorporates hiking influences. The colorway starts with layers of “Carbon Green” and “Fauna Brown” on the ripstop base and turf suede overlay, respectively. The tumbled leather of the Swoosh then takes on a darker shade of brown, while the underfoot has black sidewalls paired with a similar shade. Gold-plated details are more on-trend than all of these, emphasizing embroidered branding, graphic footbeds, and added D-rings
2020 Cheap Jordans, UNDERCOVER’s return to the Nike Dunk High marks a departure from their previous jungle-inspired aesthetic and the fictional UBA brand they created in 2021. Jun Takahashi took a more minimalist approach for spring and summer, wearing the aforementioned styles in a black and white colorway. As is customary, all the beloved UC motifs are present, branding and speckling the shoes. Apart from these areas, most of the structure is finished in a deep black tone, with textures alternating between smooth leather and tumbled leather. White text then illuminates the entire heel, spelling out a series of classic UNDERCOVER motifs. First, the words “CHAOS/BALANCE” are enlarged at the heel; however, while “CHAOS” is typed in English, “BALANCE” is replaced by its German counterpart, “GLEICHGEWICHT”. Also, the word “NEUES LEBEN” is written on it.
Retro Jordan 2021, The Nike Air Max 1 by Tinker Hatfield revolutionized the sneaker industry. Decades later, the silhouette continues to inspire many NIKE, Inc. models. As it approaches its 35th anniversary, the trend appears to be continuing. Recently, a pair that bears a striking resemblance to the original has seen some notable revisions. Billed as a new style, the Nike Air Max Motif retains many traditional details, including a curved reinforced panel on the upper, a visible Air unit in the heel, and a waffle pattern outsole. A combination of “Grey Fog” and “Light Smoke Grey” shades accentuates the titular “Photon Dust” around the forefoot and upper eyelet (Hatfield’s AM 1 original sketch is thought to have a similar yellow style). The translucent midsole also reveals the same-toned foam underfoot, creating an overall effect that is both traditional and contemporary.
When the Air Jordan 1 first released, there wasn’t much excitement. That’s changed dramatically in recent months, with the silhouette’s latest colorway easily rivaling mainstream colorways. Adding to the list is another pair of purple bags, this time in leather, corduroy, and a more traditional color-blocking scheme. Compared to the rest of the structure, the mid-panel and toe stand out the most because of their white finish and distressed canvas finish. So the purple pops up near and above, applying to everything from the leather overlays to the indented Swoosh. Black laces and cushions the collar, while a soft cream finish on the partially recycled midsole completes the look.
