DO1344-100 Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “Next Nature” Lifestyle Shoes
With Air Max 270, The Nike Blazer Mid is effectively the poster boy of the “Move to Zero” initiative, leading the charge for the brand’s many collections. Here, it ushers in yet another sustainable make.Dubbed the Blazer Mid ’77 “Next Nature,” the model stays relatively true to the original.this sneaker is made with a mix of recycled fabrics. The Move-To-Zero elements are very lowkey here, with a slightly speckled grind rubber sole and the Move-To-Zero logo printed on the insole. If Nike truly wants to switch to sustainability, the Move-To-Zero campaign needs to continue to offer classic silhouettes like this. It’s the only way to make sustainability the everyday standard.
Inspired by the outdoors and made for use in the colder weather, this Nike SB Blazer Mid Premium comes dressed in a Jade Smoke, Black, White, and Sport Spice color scheme. The split-tone look makes up the sneaker with a vibrant pink and black suede making up the toebox and front half of the sneaker, and Jade Smoke is seen on the back half using a ballistic mesh. The Swoosh is seen in black leather with contrast stitching throughout, most notably on the zig-zag pattern on the front half of the sneaker. Pull tabs are seen on the heel and the other takes a Euro step to the lateral side on the ankle collar with Nike SB branding.
The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Indigo brings a sustainable construction to the classic silhouette. The goal here is a more environmentally friendly production and dyeing of the sneakers. Sustainability is the focus here and so the Blazer in Mid is also dedicated to a plant. The upper is made entirely of linen, with the main part dyed in white except for the Swoosh and the verse reinforcement. The Swoosh and verse entry are colored in “obsidian”. The verse features the embroidered image of the plant on one side and the associated plant details on the reinforcement. Tongue tag and the verse seam are in cork design.
