For Air Max 270,There’s a new Nike Dunk in town, and it’s coming by way of Jun Takahashi’s famed streetwear label. Appearing today, the UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High “UBA” — “Undercover Basketball Association” — is his third edition of the High Top for 2021.Earlier this year, Takahashi unveiled a duo of CHAOS/BALANCE Dunk Highs for their impending Fall/Winter catalog. And while those two appear to form part of a succinct collection, this brand new offering from the brands seems to be a standalone release. With the two former riding down a lane blazed by Pharrell and his affirmative branding, this new release looks to honor the silhouette’s hardwood roots with an “UNDERCOVER Basketball Association” play on the NBA.
Instead of the famed Red, Royal, and White of the Association’s logo, UNDERCOVER opt for Nike’s famous on-court “Bred” coloration.Nike Dunk features an all-leather upper that features a red leather base and contrasting black leather overlays. White is then added to the makeover with white laces tying the sneaker down and white “UBA” branding on the inner and outer ankles while black speckled white midsoles finish off the design.Below a speckled white midsole and white rubber outsole are featured, while “UBA/Undercover Basketball Association” is spotlighted on the lateral ankle. Rounding out the final details is Undercover text on the medial walls, along with co-branded insoles.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Celadon appears that Nike SB has taken a page from its outdoor-focused All Conditions Gear (ACG) line for this upcoming SB Dunk release.Next up for the Swoosh’s popular SB Dunk Low skate shoe is a bold color scheme that seemingly references the ACG Caldera boots from the ‘90s. The look starts off with a bright violet suede on the base of the upper and is paired with tan suede overlay panels and light blue accents covering the Swoosh. Adding to the outdoors-inspired look are speckled midsoles and black outsoles.
