Nike Shoes appears to be celebrating their LA sports teams with a sports-themed “What The LA” iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 Low. This shoe references the sports teams and graffiti scene that LA is known for. Much like the What The NY Air Force 1, the cities name is featured on the side of the upper and on the insole. Some of the key features includes baseball-style stitching on the medial side of the left shoe, basketball-textured leather on the medial Swoosh of the right shoe completed with speckled midsoles and translucent outsoles.
This Nike Air Force 1 is comprised of a mix of leather, suede, denim and mesh on the right shoe’s heel tab. Black and white speckled midsole paired with semi-translucent outsoles complete the design. The Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 ‘What The LA’ showcases a mashup design that gives the nod to Los Angeles’ numerous major sports franchises: the Lakers, Clippers, Sparks, Dodgers, Angels, Rams, Chargers, Kings and Galaxy. Common details between the left and right shoe include speckled midsoles, an embroidered mini-Swoosh and a ‘Los Angeles’ wordmark on the lateral heel.
Jordan Release 2020, This Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort comes dressed in a Photon Dust, Light Smoke Grey, and Grey Fog color combination. Highlighted with tumbled leather and smooth leather across the upper, while the cut-out Swoosh exposes mesh. Across the leather construction, which panels in both smooth and tumbled textures, a drab “Photun Dust” runs quite replete, dressing even the laces, synthetic Swoosh, and tread alongside. Utilizing a foam exposed tongue and ankle gives this pair the vintage feel. Following, shades of Grey cover the upper along with Sail on the midsole. Finally, a Grey rubber outsole finishes the look.
