If you are a fan of the Dior AJ1 High, wait until you see the Dior x Jordan 1 Low Grey. Sure to be one of the hottest sneaker collaborations of the entire decade, the Low silhouette has never seen a partnership like this before, and it’s about time. Launching as part of a larger collection with the esteemed Parisian fashion house, the Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low sports a simple two-tone color scheme on the upper, featuring a white Italian leather base with subtle grey leather overlays. Branding elements include a Dior Air woven tongue tag, Dior Oblique jacquard Swoosh and a Dior Wings logo on the heel tab. The made-in-Italy kicks are finished with translucent outsoles revealing additional branding hits underneath.

The Dior x Air Jordan 1 Low is one of two extremely limited edition colorways of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe created by high fashion house Dior, in Italy. In what is arguably the most desirable sneaker collaboration of 2020, the Dior x Jordan 1 collection promptly sent waves throughout both the fashion and sneaker scenes when Dior’s Creative Director, Kim Jones, announced the partnership at the Dior pre-fall show in Miami in 2020. “Air Dior” branding graces the tongue and heel, where you’ll also find the iconic winged basketball motif debossed. Along the lateral and medial side panels, a lacy Swoosh elegantly swoops across as an homage to the luxury brand’s own B-23 shoe that is iconic in its own right.

Providing a slick alternative to the famed “Union” and the new “Smoke Grey” iterations, the latest Air Jordan 1 Mid is sure to be a hit. The Air Jordan 1 Mid Se Union Black Toe features a white leather upper with black leather overlays. Black swoosh and outsole accompany the overall tones of the pair, while red and grey suede inserts are found in the heel area. White leathers line underneath, wrapping upwards to the ankle flaps whose grey-tinged backdrop emulates the intentionally pilling of its muse. Extra contrast stitch then dresses the tongue adjacent to a red-dyed Jumpman logo.

While the Air Jordan 1 genus continues to expanding as the model approaches a 40th Anniversary in the year 2025, many simply look back at the original models – the High and the Low. While the pair you’ve laid your eyes on here is hardly the OG model, it’s now part of the immediately family of the original Jordan shoe, and within it we’ve seen an array of renditions that hit lifestyle, skate, and even React-soled status. The white midsole matches the white Swoosh and Wings logo splattered on the heel counter. Tying the whole shoe together is the pink outsole mixed with the 23 on the pink lace keeper.
