Nike Daybreak, The model was originally designed for running and features the iconic waffle sole that was invented by Bill Bowerman using his wife’s waffle iron – little did he know it would eventually become a worldwide sensation.The label flips the script on the retro runner – quite literally – layering grey and black suede, white leather and teal rubber over semi-translucent mesh to give the inside out, cut and sewn look. What’s more, the signature sidewall Swoosh is deconstructed using teal stitching – used as a nod to the silhouette’s original design drawings.
