Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 13 joins NBA 2K20’s Gamer Exclusive program with a special “Funk” colorway. Over the last few weeks, NBA 2K20 and Nike have been celebrating the MyPlayer Nation Playoffs in style by rewarding gamers with some limited real-life sneakers. According to the Swoosh, this colorway is yet another make up inspired by Durant’s love for music combined with his scoring ability through a bold floral pattern seen on the upper.
Jordans 2019 Cheap, Inspired by Durant’s love of funk music, the “Funk” combines the green shades from the KD 13 “Chill” with a print reminiscent of the KD 13 “Hype.” The shoe is a nod to KD’s affinity for bassline grooves and baseline moves with a bold floral pattern that’s as fresh as his jumper or a chart-topping track. Contrast is provided by a green and pink Swoosh that dips down on the midfoot, green tongues, and black heels/collars. Midsoles are dressed in green as well, with a pop of red surrounding Durant’s #7. Double-stacked Zoom is stuffed in the forefoot for a responsive feel, with a red oval on the green outsole demarcating its placement.
Retro Jordan is set to release a few new renditions of their popular Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 silhouette. One of those includes this “Oracle Aqua” offering that features an Aqua suede upper with a perforated toe box and Pink mesh on the sides panels. Highlighting the shoe are Volt accents covering the cutout-netted Swoosh logos, tongues, and heels completed with a White AF1 rubber sole.
