Jordan Brand’s forte may be high-performance basketball shoes and its Air Jordan retro line, but the Jumpman often extends its product offerings into the running and training sphere as well — the latest result of which is the Air Zoom Renegade. Debuting in an “Infrared 23” color scheme, the Renegade uses a translucent TPE upper with a black toe and milky white collar. This is adorned with a duo of printed geometric patterns, and also equips a red Jumpman logo surrounded with a circle, a hallmark of late ’90s-early ’00s Jordan product.
This offering of the runner comes dressed in a White, Infrared 23, Black, and Pure Platinum color blocking. It features a White transparent patterned upper with a branded tongue pull tab highlighted with Infrared contrasting accents throughout. A Black perforated arched midfoot overlay atop a cushioning unit similar to the AlphaFly NEXT% completes the design. Sporting the classic “Infrared” theme championed by the Air Max 90, these allow its titular hues to apply along its toe-to-midfoot underlays, Jumpman insignias, throat branding, as well as the midsole cushioning unit that recalls similar design cues to the popular AlphaFly NEXT%. Throats serve up an elongated black fabric tag with bright red technical text and another Jumpman logo, with laces secured by simple fabric overlays. A perforated black semi-circle on each side enhances ventilation, and a black heel tab further assists with easy entry and removal.
Along with a special “PSG” edition set to release later this year, the inaugural Jordan Air Zoom Renegade will be dressed in a white, “Infrared 23,” black, and “Pure Platinum” color scheme. Most notably, the sneaker is constructed from a transparent patterned upper, while a black perforated arched midfoot overlay adds a bit of contrast. Jumpman insignias and throat branding help to round out the final details, along with a cushioning unit similar to the AlphaFly NEXT%. Elsewhere on these shoes mixes between neutral tones such as its patterned upper outlined in white, dusty grey heel paneling, and perforated arched midfoot overlays dressed in black.
