2020 Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low QS “Yellow” CJ5378-700
Nike Skateboarding will release a special edition of Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk as a tribute to Grateful Dead Bears, a series of stylized dancing bears drawn by Bob Bob as part of the back cover of the album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice) In 1973.
According to Air Jordan 13 Retro GS, this pair of shoes is one of three pairs of “grateful death” shoes that will be released as part of the packaging, reminiscent of the “three bears” shoes that were put on the market in 2006. There is no confirmed release date, but we will continue to follow this story on Sole Collector.
The perfect combination of Off-White x Jordan 1 UNC Blue, “Opti Yellow / Blue Fury” and” Green Spark / Soar” two-color uppers are made of suede and furry wool, and are made of jagged midfoot Swoosh. Co-branded tongue labels, “NIKE” heel embroidery and printed insoles can also increase brand awareness. A hidden detail on SB Dunk Lows is a zipper storage bag hidden in the tongue.
Looking closely, this adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Cloud White has vague artificial fur on the entire upper to imitate a bear, while suede covers the cover. Blue is covered with green, and blue falls on the Swoosh logo, with black jagged edges taken from the bear’s clown collar. Other highlights include a storage bag behind the tongue and a green and blue rubber outsole on the midsole.
