2018 New Air Jordan 5 Laney “Varsity Royal” to release
New Air Jordans 2019 will be release a set of new Air Jordan 5 “Laney” colorways as part of an upcoming Air Jordan 5 JSP “Laney” Pack. Much like the original “Laney” release that debuted in 2000 and retroed in 2013, both releases will be inspired by Michael Jordan’s Emsley A. Laney High School. The Air Jordan 5 JSP Laney from above comes dressed in a Varsity Royal/Light Charcoal-Varsity Maize color scheme. Details on this shoe include a Varsity Royal nubuck on the upper, Maize hits on the lining, outsole, shark teeth on the midsole, 23 on the heel, and the furry Jumpman on the tongue. Other details include the icy translucent outsole, the Grey speckled midsole and what appears to be a reflective or at least Silver tongue.
2019 Jordan will be paying tribute to Mikes High School, Emsley A. Laney High, once again on the Air Jordan 5. One pair comes dressed in Varsity Maize/Light Charcoal-Varsity Royal and the other in Varsity Royal/Light Charcoal-Varsity Maize color tones. Our first look shows an upper draped entirely in “Varsity Royal,” paired with hits of “Varsity Maize” on the sock liner, toe, and branding, along with a grey midsole and tongue. The yellow pair is still yet to surface, but it’s expected that the blue will replace the yellow and vice versa.
Nike Shoes and Jerry Lorenzo will be expanding his Fear of God Collection into 2019 with another new model, the Nike Air Fear of God Moccasin. Dressed in a Particle Beige, Sail, and Black color scheme. It features a laceless Beige upper with an elastic strap and toggle pull lacing system on the heel. Fear of God branding on the insole atop a double-stacked Zoom Air unit completes the design.
